Welcome to Trident Health Law, LLC (“Trident,” “we,” or “us”). These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy (“Terms”), govern your access to and use of http://www.tridenthealthlaw.com and all other Trident-operated websites, mobile applications, and social media channels (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
- You have read and understood these Terms;
- You are at least the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction;
- You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.
2. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Additional Terms
Certain Services may be subject to additional terms (“Additional Terms”), which will be presented at the point of use. If Additional Terms conflict with these Terms, the Additional Terms will govern for the applicable Service.
4. Trident Content
All content on the Services—including text, graphics, publications, videos, trademarks, and logos (“Trident Content”)—is owned by Trident and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may use Trident Content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or publicly display Trident Content;
- Use Trident Content for commercial purposes without written permission;
- Remove copyright or trademark notices;
- Deep link to internal pages without authorization.
Trident Content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice or create an attorney-client relationship.
5. User Submissions
You may submit content (“Submissions”) through the Services. By doing so, you grant Trident a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and distribute your Submissions.
- You own or control the rights to your Submission;
- Your Submission is accurate and lawful;
- Your Submission does not contain protected health information (PHI) or confidential legal matter.
Submissions are public and not confidential. Trident may remove or refuse to post Submissions at its discretion.
6. Use of Services
You agree to use the Services lawfully and responsibly. You may not:
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity;
- Transmit malware or unauthorized advertising;
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data;
- Post unlawful, offensive, or misleading content.
Trident may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
7. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining its security and for all activity under your credentials. Trident may contact you using the information provided in your account.
8. Third-Party Links
The Services may link to third-party websites. Trident is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Use them at your own risk.
9. Privacy and Security
Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use personal information.
We implement reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee complete protection. If you discover a security issue, contact info@tridenthealthlaw.com.
10. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Trident disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Trident is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages;
- Loss of data or profits;
- Business interruption.
Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by you to access the Services.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Trident and its affiliates against claims arising from:
- Your use of the Services;
- Your Submissions;
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Trident may assume control of any defense at its own expense.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of courts located in Chicago, Illinois.
13. Termination
Trident may terminate your access to the Services at any time. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, and 13–17 will survive termination.
14. Jurisdictional Use
The Services are intended for use in the United States. Access from other jurisdictions is at your own risk. You are responsible for compliance with local laws and any applicable taxes.
15. Copyright Infringement
Trident complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that your copyrighted work has been used on our Services in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA Agent at:

Your DMCA notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the copyrighted work;
- Location of the infringing material (e.g., URL);
- Your contact information;
- A good faith belief that the use is unauthorized;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate.
Upon receipt of a valid notice, Trident will take appropriate action. Incomplete notices may not receive a response.
16. Electronic Signature
Your use of the Services constitutes your electronic signature and agreement to these Terms.
17. Software and Mobile Applications
If you download Trident software or apps, you agree to any applicable license terms. You may not reverse engineer, distribute, or export software in violation of U.S. law.
Apple users: These Terms are between you and Trident, not Apple. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
18. Miscellaneous
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Trident.
- If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
- Trident may assign these Terms; you may not without consent.
- Force majeure may excuse performance delays.
- English is the controlling language of these Terms.
